Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jim Carrey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaan Banaan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carrey's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, When the man comes around - Johnny Cash. Jaan Banaan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carrey tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Banaan swivels and escapes.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Carrey goes for an armbar but Banaan turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Banaan.
Carrey had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Banaan is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Carrey Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Banaan's back instead.
Carrey is looking for a choke. Banaan gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Banaan manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.
Banaan wants to control from the top but Carrey keeps moving.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Carrey looking for subs off his back but Banaan has passed one foot through into half guard.
Carrey wants to improve his position but Banaan is controlling well.
Banaan postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Carrey to stand up.

I would just about give that final round to Jaan Banaan.
Well Banaan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
