Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nick Noisy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Punka Tuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Punka Tuka has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Noisy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Punka Tuka!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, John Kavanagh and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tuka closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Tuka looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Noisy is not content to let Tuka control the position.

Noisy throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Noisy gets caught flat footed, as Tuka shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Tuka trying to control but Noisy is working from the bottom.

Tuka is stalling in the full guard.
Noisy keeping moving, preventing Tuka from controlling successfully.
Noisy wants to stand up but Tuka is controlling him.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tuka seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Noisy is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Tuka looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Tuka has managed to clinch.

Noisy is fighting off a takedown attempt but Tuka is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Noisy to the mat. Noisy regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Tuka has his foot on Noisy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Noisy works his way back into a safe position though.
Noisy won't allow Tuka to get back to his feet.

Noisy has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Tuka is proving hard to escape from.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Tuka drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Noisy is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Tuka is controlling him.
Tuka is stalling in the full guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Punka Tuka dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Tuka fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Noisy to the ground. Tuka is now in Noisy's guard.
Noisy has a closed guard, preventing Tuka from standing up.

Tuka drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Noisy manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tuka has Noisy in his guard.


Noisy avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Noisy has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Tuka is proving hard to escape from.
Tuka is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Tuka is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Noisy defends well.

Noisy stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Noisy wants to stand and escape but Tuka is having none of it.
Tuka looking to pass the guard.
Tuka won't allow Noisy to get back to his feet.
Tuka wants to control from the top but Noisy keeps moving.

Noisy trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Noisy finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Noisy is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Tuka. Noisy shrugs it off though.
Noisy tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Tuka is able to avoid easily.
Noisy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tuka swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Tuka looking to score a takedown here. Noisy is defending well but Tuka drives through and ends up in Noisy's guard.
Noisy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Noisy pushes Tuka off and scrambles back to his feet.

Tuka closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Noisy to the mat! Noisy manages to get full guard.
Tuka is breathing heavily.
Tuka won't allow Noisy to get back to his feet.
Tuka is looking to pass into half guard but Noisy pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Noisy is in guard.

Noisy is looking to stand up but Tuka won't let him.
Tuka trying to control the position.
Tuka is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Noisy wants to get up but he can't break Tuka's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Punka Tuka showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!



Tuka throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Noisy tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Tuka is in Noisy's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tuka wants to control but Noisy is keeping him busy.

Tuka is keen to just control but Noisy is a slippery customer.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Tuka shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tuka showed some decent athleticism there.
Tuka takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Tuka is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Noisy sees it coming and defends easily.
Noisy tries to kick Tuka off but Tuka keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Tuka stalling away here and it's allowed Noisy to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Noisy is looking to clinch but Tuka is avoiding it.
Tuka has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Noisy is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Noisy tries to clinch but Tuka is having none of it.
Tuka tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Tuka avoids a punch combination nicely.

And that's the end of the fight!
Punka Tuka comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Tuka has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
