Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boone takes a swing at Spong's ribcage but misses.
Spong missing with a left hand there. Boone was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Boone lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Spong circles away quickly and effectively.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Spong! But no joy.
Spong keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Spong takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Boone changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Spong ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Boone moves away.
Spong throws the kick towards the body but Boone avoids it.
Boone smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Boone slips under a jab.
A slow jab from Boone misses its intended target.
Boone is looking to land body kicks.
Spong let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Spong, right into the meat.

Spong looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Boone throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Spong moves into the clinch successfully.

Boone throws a leg kick that is checked
and Spong counters with a low kick, right behind Boone 's knee.
Some wild striking there from Boone.
Boone swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Spong connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Boone punishes Spong's body with a nice straight punch.
Boone misses with an uppercut. Spong saw that one coming.
Boone misses with a looping right.
Boone throws a hook but Spong avoids it easily.
A little jabbing left from Spong on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Boone throws a jab but it's blocked by Spong.
Boone throws a sloppy body shot
and Spong counters with a nice body kick.
Spong throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Boone.
Spong slips a straight right by Boone.
Boone displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Spong throws out the jab.
Boone scores with a punch to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Boone tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Spong was well out of range. Poor timing from Boone.

Spong swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Boone has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LOD: Ground Zero in the buildup to the fight.
Boone walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Spong checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Boone ducks under a wild hook from Spong.
Spong connects with a nice looking jab.
Boone throws a hook but Spong blocks it.
Boone swings widly with a right hand
and Spong finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Boone throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Spong counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Boone is breathing heavily.
A nice leg kick lands there from Spong.
Spong slips under a jab.
Spong dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Boone. That did some damage!
A head kick from Spong lands but Boone takes it in his stride.
Boone connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Spong momentarily.
Boone misses with an uppercut
and Spong counters with a slapping leg kick.
Boone throws a jab when Spong was well out of range.
It seemed like Spong was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Spong throws a head kick but Boone moves out of range.
Boone throws an off balance right hand

and Spong counters with a head kick that drops Boone to the mat! Boone scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Boone is rocked!
Boone misses with a straight right.
Spong is trying to counter with his kicks.
Oh Boone is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Spong closes the distance and pushes Boone back into the cage.
Spong is leaning against Boone and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Spong cracks Boone with a nice body shot.
Boone seems to have got his legs back now.
Spong lands a hook to the side of the head.
A short body shot lands from Spong as the two fighters clinch.

Spong breaks from the clinch.
Spong slips under a jab.
Spong fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Boone has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Spong feints and then cracks Boone's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Boone down.
Spong lands a body shot.
Spong misses with a hook.
Spong throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Spong's corner calls for a 1-2. Spong obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Spong throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Boone crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
