Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Whiteside (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hoody Hooty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoody Hooty is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Johnny Whiteside!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hoody Hooty!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hooty tries to close the distance and clinch but Whiteside swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hooty moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Hooty has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hooty there as he acknowledges the shot.
Whiteside definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Hooty is trying hard to land a takedown here. Whiteside sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hooty throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hooty misses with a takedown attempt - Whiteside sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hooty tries to clinch up but Whiteside circles away and keeps his distance.

Hooty decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Whiteside is not content to let Hooty control the position.
Whiteside keeping hold of Hooty's head, controlling as best he can.
Hooty is stalling here. Whiteside is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Hooty seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Whiteside has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hooty tries to buck Whiteside off but Whiteside is having none of it.
Whiteside staying calm.
Hooty wants to get back to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hooty is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Whiteside has just dragged him back down to the mat.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Whiteside working away.
Hooty is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Hooty can't do much from the bottom here.
Hooty trying to remain calm as Whiteside controls from the top position.
Whiteside has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Hooty!
Hooty is desperately trying to improve his position but Whiteside has a good base and remains in mount.
Hooty is bucking up trying to escape but Whiteside cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Hooty is working to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Whiteside scoring with strikes but Hooty is staying in there.
Whiteside punishing his opponent with strikes.

Hooty is rocked!
Whiteside postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Hooty badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Whiteside around the waist but Whiteside pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Whiteside is the winner by TKO! Whiteside jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Whiteside!
Johnny Whiteside very nearly forgot to thank Atlantis amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
