Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Bradman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lionel Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Don Bradman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lionel Santos!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Santos throws out a powerful jab.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Santos lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bradman has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bradman and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Santos connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Bradman throws a right hand that misses
enabling Santos to counter with a crisp jab.
Santos avoids the head kick by Bradman.
Santos avoids the body shot from Bradman.
Bradman throws an off balance right hand
and Santos counters with a series of strikes. Bradman will be more careful next time no doubt.
Santos fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Bradman checks it well.
Santos scores with a sloppy right hand. Bradman should have avoided that one.
Bradman slips a jab from Santos.
Bradman appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bradman throws a looping overhand right but Santos ducks down to avoid it.

and Bradman counters with an inside leg kick.

Santos has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

and Santos counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bradman throws a leg kick but Santos sees it coming and moves out of range.
Santos throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bradman on the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bradman on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Bradman walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

and Santos cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Santos counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Bradman tries to score with a low kick but Santos moves his leg out of the way.
Lionel Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bradman needs to keep his hands up - Santos had a free shot at his head there.
Santos keeps Bradman at a distance using the push kick.
Bradman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bradman displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Santos throws out the jab.

Santos is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bradman had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

and Bradman takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bradman looks for the body kick but Santos saw that one coming.
Santos unleashes a big counter combination but Bradman bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Santos throws a series of punches but Bradman moves out of range.
Santos throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bradman on the side of the head.
Santos lands with a nice body punch.
A head kick by Bradman misses
enabling Santos to counter with a crisp jab.
Bradman lands the left hand.
Santos moves into range and connects with a jab.
Santos works the jab nicely.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Santos walks into a left hand.
Bradman connects with a solid leg kick.
Bradman moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Santos scores with the left hand. Bradman knows he should have avoided that one.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lionel Santos dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Bradman misses with a right hand
and Santos makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Lionel Santos seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Bradman blocks a head kick by Santos.
Bradman moves out of range of the strikes.
Santos takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Santos misses with a low kick as Bradman jumps back.
Bradman throws a low kick but Santos moves out of range easily.
Santos stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bradman.
A telegraphed right hand from Bradman misses the target.
Bradman looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Santos's corner calls for a 1-2. Santos obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bradman misses with a looping left.
Santos has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Bradman throws a sloppy head kick and Santos moves out of range easily.
Santos scores with a three punch combo!
Santos stalks Bradman and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bradman's face. Bradman staggers backwards, shaken.

Santos slips under a jab.
Santos connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
An inside leg kick lands from Santos.
Bradman missing with a left hand there. Santos was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Bradman fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Santos.
Santos throws a head kick that misses.
Bradman scoring well with a low kick there.
Santos tests Bradman's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Bradman throws a leg kick that is checked
and Santos counters with a stiff right hand.
Santos lands a front kick.
Santos looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Bradman throws a hook to the side of Santos's head but Santos sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bradman lands with a kick to the temple. Santos shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bradman tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Santos is able to avoid easily.
Bradman moves away from the strike by Santos.
Good exchange - Bradman coming out on top.
Bradman closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Santos! Bradman dives in looking to finish! Santos is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Don Bradman!
Don Bradman decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
