Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eduardo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Selfrid Bergman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Stop (Blue Mix) - Ghost K. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eduardo Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Selfrid Bergman! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Silva tries a head kick but it misses.
Bergman walks into a straight right hand from Silva. Bergman stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Silva. The fight moves into the clinch position. Silva misses with the head strike.
Bergman has picked Silva up - he's going for a ride! Bergman dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Silva manages to escape and get back to his feet! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bergman dives in and scores a takedown into Silva's guard. Bergman scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Bergman slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Bergman working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Bergman throws a big right hand that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bergman with a flurry of punches that miss. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bergman prevents Silva from getting back to his feet. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bergman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Bergman throwing strikes but missing. Silva working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bergman. Bergman throws a big elbow that misses. Silva has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Bergman has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. A right hook to the body lands for Silva.
Bergman tries for a takedown. No joy.
We've been informed that Bergman has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Silva gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Selfrid Bergman has been cut. Silva lands a body punch in the clinch. Silva gets underhooks to prevent Bergman's takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A short right from Silva on the inside. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Silva. Bergman manages to break the clinch.
Silva misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bergman is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Silva with a body shot. Jab, jab by Bergman - just one landing. Silva tries to clinch but Bergman is having none of it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Silva scores with a sloppy right hand. Bergman should have avoided that one. Bergman looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Eduardo Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Selfrid Bergman. Bergman moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Bergman fails with a takedown attempt. Silva throws a head kick that misses. Bergman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Silva paws at him with a jab and circles away. We've been told by Silva's head coaches at KY GYM that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Silva connects with a leg kick. Bergman looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Silva plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Good leg kick by Silva there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Nice straight punches there by Silva. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Silva.
That has opened up Selfrid Bergman's cut even more. Bergman displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Silva throws out the jab. Bergman ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bergman blocks a jab. Silva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bergman tries a head kick but it misses.
Silva moves into the clinch successfully.
Silva gets underhooks to prevent Bergman's takedown attempt.
Silva lands with a short head shot on the inside. Bergman swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Bergman can't get the takedown.
A left hand lands to the body for Silva.
Silva lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Bergman is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Silva is defending well. Bergman avoids a wild elbow strike from Silva. Silva stops a takedown attempt from Bergman.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Silva takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bergman is trying to drag Silva to the mat but Silva just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Bergman has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Silva is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Silva lands with a short head shot on the inside.
The cut above Selfrid Bergman's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Bergman has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bergman tries to score a body lock takedown but Silva shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Bergman looks winded! Nice elbow from Silva. Bergman changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Silva fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Silva feints and then cracks Bergman's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bergman down. Jab, jab by Silva - just one landing.
Selfrid Bergman's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Selfrid Bergman's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Eduardo Silva! Eduardo Silva tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
