Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Ollson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wiley McCoist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alexander Ollson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Wiley McCoist! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ollson wants to clinch. Ollson throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. As Ollson backs off McCoist throws a huge counter combo but Ollson manages to avoid it all. McCoist doesn't manage to clinch there - Ollson circles away.
McCoist wants to clinch. Ollson tries to counter by clinching up but McCoist breaks away and moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McCoist lands with a good body shot. We've been hearing reports that Ollson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Ollson gets a double leg takedown into McCoist's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCoist wants to get back to his feet but Ollson passes into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ollson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Ollson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. McCoist is trying to escape back to his feet but Ollson uses the scramble to pass into side control.
McCoist is looking to reverse the position. McCoist wants to control but Ollson postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ollson controls the position from side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCoist tries to get back to half guard but can't. Ollson is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt McCoist will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from McCoist lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ollson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ollson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Some wild striking there from McCoist.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Ollson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Ollson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Ollson controls the position from side control. McCoist is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alexander Ollson dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ollson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before McCoist has time to react. McCoist tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ollson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Alexander Ollson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McCoist throws a head kick but Ollson moves out of range.
McCoist closes the distance looking to clinch enabling Ollson to counter with a crisp jab. Ollson keeps the fight on the outside. Ollson throws a quick inside leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McCoist attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Ollson tried to counter with a leg kick but McCoist avoided it. Ollson throws a jab but it's blocked by McCoist. McCoist unleashes a big counter combination but Ollson bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Ollson looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Ollson swats away the attempt to clinch by McCoist.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCoist fails with a takedown attempt. It looked like Ollson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. McCoist is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ollson slips a jab and a cross from McCoist.
Ollson doesn't manage to clinch there - McCoist circles away.
Ollson misses with a right hand and McCoist counters with a nice leg kick. McCoist is looking to take this fight into the clinch. McCoist misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ollson swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ollson scores with a nice head shot. Ollson takes the fight into the clinch. McCoist softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Ollson has McCoist pushed against the cage. Ollson makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Ollson goes for a takedown attempt but McCoist pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Ollson lands a leg kick that knocks McCoist off balance momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCoist is looking to clinch. McCoist doesn't manage to clinch there - Ollson circles away.
Ollson is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Ollson swings for the body but McCoist moves out of range.
A combination from McCoist does no damage. Ollson misses the shot to the body. Ollson is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. McCoist tries to clinch but Ollson is having none of it. McCoist takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Ollson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McCoist paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ollson scores with a takedown into McCoist's guard. Ollson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Ollson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that McCoist can do to turn this around?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ollson throws a big elbow that misses. Ollson works a leg free and moves into half guard. Ollson controlling the action here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alexander Ollson dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
McCoist clinches up against the cage. McCoist lands a nice elbow. Ollson breaks from the clinch.
McCoist shoots in looking for a takedown. Ollson tries to sprawl out of it but McCoist keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ollson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Ollson, right into the meat.

McCoist rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ollson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Ollson is looking to counter with a shot to the body. McCoist avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Despite the aggression on McCoist's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Ollson just misses with a punch to the body.
McCoist is looking to clinch. McCoist gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Ollson counters with a left to the body. McCoist gets tackled into the cage by Ollson. Ollson maintains the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ollson avoiding damage as McCoist throws knees to the body.
McCoist throws a knee to the head but misses.
McCoist swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Ollson is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Ollson tries a body shot but McCoist blocks it.
McCoist pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. A nice glancing elbow lands by McCoist. Come on Ollson - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Ollson turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! McCoist seems a little lost for a moment, as Ollson dominates the positioning. Alexander Ollson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McCoist is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Ollson slows the pace down. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Alexander Ollson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ollson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
