The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sampaio clinches up with Alotadik and pushes him back against the cage.

Sampaio changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Alotadik fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Sampaio throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Alotadik was covering up waiting for the punch and Sampaio finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Sampaio has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Alotadik can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Alotadik lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sampaio has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sampaio and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
