Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joey De Andreas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roddy Piper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Andreas's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Free Bird by Leonard Skynard. Piper has chosen Real Men Wear Skirts as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piper throws a hook to the side of De Andreas's head but De Andreas sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Piper throws a shot from downtown. De Andreas moves away and avoids it.
De Andreas closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
De Andreas wants to advance to full mount but Piper doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Piper has his foot on De Andreas's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. De Andreas works his way back into a safe position though.
De Andreas tries to free his leg and advance position but Piper is retaining full guard.

Piper bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in De Andreas's guard.

Piper is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged De Andreas with him. De Andreas is trying to defend but Piper has an arm under the chin now! De Andreas grimaces and is forced to tap out!
