Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mestre Bimba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Rearden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bimba comes to the cage accompanied by Quadras by Mestre Bimba. Rearden has chosen Irigy Hónaljmirigy - Rúgj Chuck Norris (Chuck Norris parody by Hungarians) as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mestre Bimba! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Henry Rearden! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Reed Andrews and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rearden lands with a good body shot. Bimba takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Henry Rearden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rearden avoids the head kick by Bimba.
Rearden is looking for the big counter here. Rearden tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bimba defends well and Rearden ends up having to push Bimba into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Bimba slips under a jab from Rearden. Bimba throws a wild body kick that Rearden sees coming a mile off. Rearden takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Bimba cracks Rearden with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Rearden is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bimba sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Rearden tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bimba connects with a body shot that sends Rearden's belly button to the back. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rearden. Mestre Bimba has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henry Rearden. Rearden fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bimba has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. This has been an exciting period of action! Rearden plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Bimba works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Bimba listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rearden keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bimba ducks right into an uppercut from Rearden. Rearden shoots in but no luck this time. Rearden throws out a powerful jab. Bimba misses with a straight right. Rearden throws a jab but it's blocked by Bimba. Rearden blocks a head kick by Bimba.
Bimba throws a looping overhand right but Rearden ducks down to avoid it. A big left from Rearden misses. Rearden tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bimba throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Rearden throws out a loose jab but Bimba uses good head movement to avoid it. Bimba moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Rearden takes the fight into the clinch. Bimba lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. We've been informed that Rearden has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Bimba misses with an elbow strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rearden throws a punch but it's blocked by Bimba. This has been an exciting period of action! Rearden swings wildly with an uppercut but Bimba uses good head movement to avoid it. Rearden drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bimba gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Bimba lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Rearden avoids a wild elbow strike from Bimba. Rearden jumps into guard, dragging Bimba to the mat.
Bimba stays in close to Rearden's body and controls the position. Bimba advances to half guard. Rearden is trying to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bimba is looking for a kimura but Rearden is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bimba to get the leverage.

Bimba passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Rearden! Rearden slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Rearden is pressing down on Bimba's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Bimba trying to control but Rearden is working from the bottom. Bimba throwing strikes from guard but Rearden blocks nicely. Rearden pulls Bimba in close to prevent any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bimba working some strikes from top position. Bimba throwing strikes from guard but Rearden blocks nicely. Bimba drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rearden manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bimba has Rearden in his guard. Rearden lands a couple of elbows. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Mestre Bimba will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Rearden shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bimba is trying to defend but Rearden finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Rearden tries to pass to full mount but Bimba defends it. Bimba manages to get to full guard.
Rearden throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bimba is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Rearden slips nicely into half guard. Rearden not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Rearden lands a nice short elbow. Bimba is defending against the submission attempts here by Rearden.
Bimba is not content to let Rearden control the position. Bimba is looking to control Rearden's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bimba avoid being mounted? Rearden trying to mount his opponent but Bimba defends it. Rearden working Bimba over with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bimba is looking to improve his position.
Henry Rearden has got the better of the ground game so far. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rearden connects with a nice short shot to Bimba's temple. Bimba is trying to control but can't.
Bimba wants to improve his position but Rearden is controlling well.
Rearden works his foot free and advances to mount. Rearden is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Bimba can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Bimba is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bimba is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Rearden landing strikes from the mount and Bimba is in trouble! Bimba is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Bimba is rocked! Rearden has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Bimba really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Bimba is squirming around, avoiding Rearden's attempts to control the action. Rearden lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Oh Bimba is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rearden has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Bimba is forced to tap!
