The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filho walks into a stiff left hand from Sayed.
Filho gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Sayed counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Filho dives in and scores a takedown into Sayed's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Filho is pushing down on Sayed's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sayed is fighting to maintain full guard but Filho has managed to sneak the leg through.

Sayed is trying to maintain the position but Filho is very close to passing his half guard.
Filho seems to be working for a kimura but Sayed defends the submission attempt.

Sayed definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Sayed knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Filho on the ground.

Filho is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Sayed is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Sayed flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Filho anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Sayed and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Filho slips an arm under Sayed chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Filho has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Filho is squeezing on Sayed like an anaconda would it's prey. Sayed fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
