PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Brandon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zhelin Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandon comes to the cage accompanied by Catch Em By Surprise. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Zhelin Li was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Brandon.
Li slips under a jab from Brandon.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Li has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Brandon throws a series of punches but Li avoids them all with ease.

Li ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Li no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Brandon is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Death Valley Training Facility that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Brandon is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Li has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Brandon is looking to defend but Li has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Brandon! Li pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Brandon taps out and this one is all over!
