Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hendo's waist but Hendo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jackson off to one side.
Hendo looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Jackson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jackson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hendo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hendo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jackson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Jackson shoots in for a takedown but Hendo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Hendo seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Deontay Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Hendo goes for a double leg but Jackson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jackson continues to drive forward.
