Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Keneth Daniel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Colin McGuigan! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daniel misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from McGuigan.

McGuigan should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Daniel rushes McGuigan and presses him up against the cage. Daniel is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. McGuigan can't fight it off and eventually Daniel manages to take the fight to the floor. McGuigan looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Daniel controlling from the top position. McGuigan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Daniel gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McGuigan working for a triangle but Daniel defends it easily.
Daniel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McGuigan on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGuigan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Daniel defends well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McGuigan looks winded! Daniel controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Daniel stands up and waves to McGuigan to follow him. McGuigan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. McGuigan preventing the sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Daniel looking to control.
McGuigan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McGuigan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. McGuigan trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Daniel manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
That's three minutes gone in the round. McGuigan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Daniel gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Daniel is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Daniel continues to stall. Daniel decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. McGuigan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - McGuigan lands in his opponent's guard.

Daniel thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! McGuigan stopping the sweep attempt from Daniel. Daniel pulls McGuigan in to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Keneth Daniel will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Daniel throws a head kick that misses enabling McGuigan to counter with a crisp jab. McGuigan darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. McGuigan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Daniel does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Daniel is trying to control but can't.

Daniel really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. McGuigan is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGuigan advances to mount. McGuigan has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Daniel bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Daniel stopping the sweep attempt from McGuigan. Daniel not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Daniel will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. McGuigan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Daniel doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Daniel manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McGuigan can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Daniel controls the pace. McGuigan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Daniel stands up and waves to McGuigan to follow him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daniel takes the fight into the clinch. Daniel lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Daniel seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. McGuigan is defending against the submission attempts here by Daniel.
It looks like Daniel is going to stand back up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Daniel clinches up with McGuigan and pushes him back against the cage. Daniel gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, McGuigan regains guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Colin McGuigan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Daniel has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
