The Best is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Tina Turner - The Best. Tadija Tadic has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tadija Tadic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James The Best! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Best throws a lazy uppercut
and Tadic counters with a two punch combo. Tadic moves away from the strike by The Best. The Best defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tadic. The Best let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. The Best throws a big shot that misses. The Best has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Tadic shoots in for a takedown but The Best shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. The Best rushes Tadic and presses him up against the cage. Tadic is looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tadija Tadic. That's going to take a lot out of him. The Best lands an elbow inside.
It looks like Tadija Tadic has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The Best softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. The Best throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Tadic misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Tadic manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tadic is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The Best really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tadic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Best stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tadic swivels though and keeps the full guard. The Best is looking to pass into half guard but Tadic pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Tadic is in guard. The Best is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tadic content to stall in guard here. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as The Best holds on and takes a little breather. The Best avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Tadic trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but The Best manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
The Best avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Tadic looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Tadic is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Tadic looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The Best stands up from guard. Let's bang! James The Best is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The Best lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Tadic at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tadic moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. The Best looks to land a right hand but Tadic moved out of range. Tadic swats away the attempt to clinch by The Best. Tadic doesn't succeed with the takedown and Tadic takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Tadija Tadic's cut is getting worse. The Best cracks Tadic with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Tadic looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can The Best finish him?
Tadic is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. The Best engages and cracks Tadic with a massive lead left hook - Tadic tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! The Best is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). James The Best! A relieved looking James The Best thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
