Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pawel Slowinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kimura comes to the cage accompanied by Seek and Destroy . I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Pawel Slowinski was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Kimura! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pawel Slowinski! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Topper Green and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kimura drops Slowinski with a nice combination! Kimura dives into Slowinski's guard, looking to finish!
It looks like Pawel Slowinski has been cut. Kimura is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kimura drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kimura jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kimura working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Slowinski's head. Kimura is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kimura drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kimura jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kimura in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kimura thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Kimura scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Kimura is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kimura scoring with some ground and pound. Slowinski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kimura. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kimura drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Kimura seems to have locked his on tight now - Slowinski screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Kimura, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Joe Kimura! A very excited looking Joe Kimura made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
