Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sampo Jampo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juha Koistinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sampo Jampo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Juha Koistinen's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sampo Jampo! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Juha Koistinen! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jampo getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Jampo has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Qube MMA in the buildup to the fight. Koistinen gets a takedown into half guard. Jampo gets full guard. Koistinen is looking to pass into half guard but Jampo pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Jampo is in guard. Koistinen has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Jampo has passed into side control.
Koistinen tries to buck Jampo off but Jampo is having none of it. Jampo trying to control the position but Koistinen is working away. Koistinen tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jampo stands up and we're back to a striking position. Koistinen closes the distance and pushes Jampo back into the cage. Koistinen pushes Jampo back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Koistinen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A looping hook to the body misses from Jampo. Koistinen does a little dance to reset his feet. Koistinen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Koistinen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Koistinen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Koistinen wants to control from the top but Jampo keeps moving. Koistinen postures up in Jampo's guard and throws a big left but Jampo blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Koistinen works a leg free and moves into half guard. Koistinen is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Jampo wants to get back to his feet. Jampo is looking to improve his position.
Koistinen wants to pass to mount but Jampo is defending the position. Koistinen trying to control from half guard but Jampo is working away. Koistinen stalling away here and it's allowed Jampo to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koistinen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Koistinen forces his way into half guard. Koistinen is working for a kimura but Jampo is defending it quite comfortably.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Koistinen sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Jampo defending well though. Koistinen is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Koistinen is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jampo sees it coming and defends easily. Koistinen wants to pass the guard but Jampo is defending well. Koistinen is working for a kimura but Jampo is defending it quite comfortably.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jampo gets back to full guard.

Juha Koistinen dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Jampo lands a shoulder strike. Koistinen is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. A right hook to the body lands for Koistinen.
Koistinen lands a right hand. Jampo lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Juha Koistinen has been cut. Jampo makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Jampo has Koistinen pressed against the cage, preventing Koistinen from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Jampo pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Koistinen has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Koistinen holding his opponent close, against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jampo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Koistinen has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Jampo has managed to clinch.
Koistinen takes an elbow to the forehead. Koistinen working hard to break the clinch. Jampo lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

A nice left hand lands by Jampo.
Koistinen avoids a wild elbow strike from Jampo. Koistinen wants to break free but Jampo has control.
Koistinen blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A body shot lands from Jampo.
Jampo works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Jampo takes a shot to the head. Koistinen blocks an elbow strike from Jampo.
Jampo lands a nice uppercut. Jampo lands a right hand. Koistinen is breathing heavily. Jampo misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Sampo Jampo has scored more points in the clinch so far. Jampo lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Jampo stops a takedown attempt from Koistinen.
Koistinen drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jampo gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Sampo Jampo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juha Koistinen. Jampo throws an elbow that misses.
Koistinen lands with a left to the head. Jampo throws an elbow but it misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A right handed body shot lands from Jampo.
Jampo misses with a hook to the ribs.
Jampo goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Jampo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. With the fighters up against the cage, Jampo throws an elbow but misses. Koistinen is trying to break the clinch but Jampo is controlling him. Koistinen has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Jampo lands with a short head shot on the inside. Jampo gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Jampo. Jampo misses with a hook to the ribs.
Jampo misses with some punches.
Jampo looks to throw an elbow but misses. Koistinen is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Koistinen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jampo feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Koistinen sprawling to the canvas! Koistinen rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Jampo finish him?!
Koistinen is rocked! Jampo feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Koistinen crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Sampo Jampo! Sampo Jampo retains his super heavyweight title! After the fight, Sampo Jampo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
