The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tate drops his hands momentarily and Jones takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Jones lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Tate goes down and covers up as Jones starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Jones!
A relieved looking Mike Jones thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
