The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith loads up on a big right hand but Silva slips the punch.
Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Smith, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Smith against the cage but Smith circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Silva displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Smith throws out the jab.
Smith throws out a loose jab but Silva uses good head movement to avoid it.
