Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Samin Ax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Harrison's choice of entrance music: The Warrior Song. Chuck Harrison has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Samin Ax! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chuck Harrison! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ax gets a double leg takedown into Harrison's guard. Harrison looking for a sweep. Not yet Harrison, not yet. Harrison really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ax. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Harrison wants to stand but Ax is controlling the position. Harrison should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Harrison looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Ax passes into side control.
Ax is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Harrison has escaped the position, nice work there. Ax working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ax is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Harrison is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Ax is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Harrison has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ax advances nicely into full mount. Harrison tries to get back to half guard but can't. Harrison is squirming around, avoiding Ax's attempts to control the action. Ax wants to finish this one by submission but Harrison is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ax. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ax is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Harrison can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

It looks like Chuck Harrison has been cut.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Ax looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Ax looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ax is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Harrison is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Harrison flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Ax anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Harrison and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Ax slips an arm under Harrison chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Ax has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Ax is squeezing on Harrison like an anaconda would it's prey. Harrison fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Samin Ax!
