The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Russell Pearce and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiley shoots in and bounces Black off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Wiley lands a couple of elbows.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wiley controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wiley thows a big elbow that misses.
Black wants to sweep but no luck.

Black working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wiley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wiley manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Wiley stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Black swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Black is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Black is looking to regain half guard here but Wiley keeps moving and retains side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wiley is landing with some decent strikes but Black is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
