Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Skyd Flear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flear comes into the arena with Am at war blaring out of the sound system. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Skyd Flear! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Robinson! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Reed Andrews and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robinson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Flear is looking to control Robinson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Flear avoid being mounted? Robinson is keen to just control but Flear is a slippery customer. Flear trying to hold on to Robinson's head to control him but Robinson postures up.
Robinson is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Flear is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flear is not content to let Robinson control the position. Robinson trying to mount his opponent but Flear defends it. Flear regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Robinson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Robinson gets the takedown into side control. Robinson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Flear to his feet. Robinson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Robinson tries for a kimura but Flear is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Robinson looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Flear trying his best to control but Robinson has mounted him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Robinson avoids the attempt from Flear to control. Flear really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Robinson is working for a guillotine from mount but Flear frees his head quite easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Robinson dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Robinson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Flear to the mat! Flear manages to get full guard. Flear trying to control the position.
Robinson wants to pass the guard but Flear is keeping the position. Flear avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Robinson stands and throws Flear's legs to the side, diving into side control. Flear can't do much from the bottom here. Robinson taking a break here but Flear is having none of it and regains half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Robinson is looking for a kimura but Flear is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Robinson to get the leverage. Flear trying to control but Robinson postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Robinson trying to pass the guard but Flear defending well. Robinson wants to advance to full mount but Flear doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Robinson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Flear is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Robinson trying to control but Flear is working from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Robinson jabbing away but nothing is landing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Flear shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Robinson counters with a takedown into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Robinson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Robinson tries to close the distance and clinch but Flear swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Robinson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Flear paws at him with a jab and circles away. Robinson with a lazy takedown attempt and Flear counters with a nice double leg into guard. Robinson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Flear's guard. Robinson has gone for a leg lock! Flear slips out almost immediately though and dives into Robinson's guard. Flear wanted to stand there but Robinson had control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Robinson looking to control but Flear passes into half guard.
Flear is trying to control the action in half guard but Robinson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Robinson moves into full guard.
Robinson is trying to control the position but Flear postures up. Flear avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Robinson looking to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flear looking to pass the guard. Flear trying to stand up but can't free himself from Robinson's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Robinson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Robinson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Skyd Flear. Well Robinson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
