Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vicente Otubro!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Otubro or perhaps it was just good defense by Materla, which made it look bad.
Materla decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Otubro is trying to control but Materla manages to pass to mount!
Materla pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Materla working the ground and pound effectively.
It looks like Vicente Otubro has been cut.
Otubro is looking to improve his position but Materla isn't that keen on the idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Materla looking to secure an arm triangle but Otubro defends it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Materla postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Otubro badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Materla around the waist but Materla pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Materla is the winner by TKO! Materla jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michal Materla!
