Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Leroy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Peanut Butter Jelly Time. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Bruce Leroy enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Simon Taylor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leroy takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Leroy shoots in looking for a takedown. Taylor tries to sprawl out of it but Leroy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Taylor manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Leroy fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Leroy slips a jab and a cross from Taylor.
Taylor moves out of range of the strikes.
Taylor fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Taylor throws a nice looking combination but Leroy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Taylor works Leroy's body with a nice hook.
Leroy fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Simon Taylor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Leroy.
The fighters circling - Leroy throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Taylor lands a lovely overhand right.
Taylor drops Leroy with a left right combo! Taylor follows him down to the ground into side control.
Leroy is rocked!
It looks like Bruce Leroy has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Taylor scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Leroy is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Taylor can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Simon Taylor!
