Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Granville Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and PJ Hairston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). PJ Hairston will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hairston tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cooper swivels and escapes.
Cooper is looking to counter with a body kick.

Hairston will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cooper tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hairston defends well and Cooper ends up having to push Hairston into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Hairston enables Cooper to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hairston manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hairston closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cooper to the mat! Cooper manages to get full guard.

Cooper pushes Hairston off and scrambles back to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Cooper is looking to break free of the clinch but Hairston has double underhooks.
Cooper is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Hairston is trying to trip Cooper. He has hold of a leg but Cooper is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Hairston persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Hairston shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cooper as he jumps to the side.
It looked like Cooper wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Hairston shoots and misses
and Cooper counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Cooper manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hairston on his heels. He'll look to pass Hairston's guard now, I'm sure.

Cooper might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
