Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alan Dzagoev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maynard Keenan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keenan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rusty Cage by SOUNDGARDEN. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alan Dzagoev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Maynard Keenan!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dzagoev doesn't manage to clinch there - Keenan circles away.
Keenan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dzagoev lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Maynard Keenan has been cut.
Alan Dzagoev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Keenan tries to close the distance and clinch but Dzagoev swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A clash of legs there as Keenan blocks the low kick.
Dzagoev misses with a wild body shot.
Keenan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dzagoev swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dzagoev lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Dzagoev.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dzagoev throws a right and a left that both miss.
A jab from Dzagoev misses.
Dzagoev thuds a left hand into Keenan's body.
Keenan displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Alan Dzagoev has been cut.
Keenan wants to clinch.
Keenan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Dzagoev wants to control but Keenan is keeping busy.
Keenan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dzagoev with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Keenan wants to get back to his feet.
Dzagoev is positioning himself well to prevent Keenan advancing to mount.
Dzagoev is staying active underneath Keenan, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Keenan decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Keenan shoots in looking for a takedown. Dzagoev tries to sprawl out of it but Keenan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dzagoev manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Keenan looks gassed!
Dzagoev clobbers Keenan with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
A jab lands there for Dzagoev.
That has opened up Maynard Keenan's cut even more.
Keenan on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Dzagoev fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Keenan, pushing him back against the cage.
Dzagoev lands with a left to the head.
Dzagoev breaks from the clinch.
Dzagoev listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Dzagoev scores with a decent looking hook.
Dzagoev throws a shot to the body.
Keenan takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
The cut above Maynard Keenan's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Dzagoev closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Keenan out cold! Keenan corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Alan Dzagoev!
