The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longshanks thows a body kick. Soni tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Longshanks throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Soni flicks out a counter leg kick but Longshanks steps away.
Soni is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Longshanks lands a high kick to the side of Soni's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Longshanks dives into guard, looking to finish.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Soni throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Longshanks tries to clinch there but Soni circles away.
Longshanks misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Longshanks creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Longshanks has Soni pressed against the cage, preventing Soni from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Longshanks fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Soni checks it well.

and Soni counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
