Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Antonis Skayias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Antonis Skayias! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chris Gunn! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gunn displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Skayias. Skayias swings for the body but Gunn moves out of range.
Skayias misses the shot to the body. It seemed like Gunn was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Gunn tries to close the distance and clinch but Skayias swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Skayias steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gunn. Gunn waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Skayias. A punch combination from Gunn misses. We've been told by Skayias's head coaches at LOD: Gym of the Gods that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Nice takedown defense from Gunn. No joy for Skayias on that attempt. Skayias wants to slow Gunn down by chopping away at his legs. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Skayias. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Antonis Skayias. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gunn thows a left - swing and a miss! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Skayias. Skayias pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skayias will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Gunn thuds his right hand into Skayias's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Gunn moves in looking to clinch but Skayias pushes him off. Gunn checks the leg kick. Skayias looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Gunn dips to his left and cracks Skayias with an uppercut! Gunn is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Skayias. Gunn lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Skayias misses the shot to the body. Gunn on the wrong end of a nice jab. Skayias looks to throw the jab but Gunn is out of range. Gunn appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Skayias takes a swing at Gunn's ribcage but misses. Gunn rushes Skayias and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Skayias is trying to force a seperation but Gunn has the dominant position. Gunn misses with a short punch on the inside. Gunn tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gunn misses with some punches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gunn lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Skayias's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Skayias misses with an uppercut
and Gunn counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Skayias gets off balance looking for a body kick and Gunn cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Skayias bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Gunn misses with a looping left. Jab by Gunn.
Skayias is rocked! Skayias tries to get into range but Gunn steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Skayias! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Gunn scores the big KO victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chris Gunn! Our winner, Chris Gunn, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
