Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by Come Over (feat. Stylo G). Revazshvili has chosen Roy Jones - Can't be touched as his entrance music. And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Levan Revazshvili!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Revazshvili.
Johnson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Johnson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Revazshvili ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Johnson moves away.
Revazshvili slips a jab from Johnson.
Revazshvili connects with a nice looking jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Johnson. Revazshvili does a little dance to reset his feet.
A jab lands there for Johnson.
Johnson jabs at Revazshvili's body.
Johnson misses the shot to the body.
Revazshvili fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Revazshvili misses with a few strikes there.
Johnson was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Levan Revazshvili seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Revazshvili lands an overhand right.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

enabling Johnson to counter with a crisp jab.
Revazshvili ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Revazshvili has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Johnson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Revazshvili throws out the jab.
Johnson doesn't manage to clinch there - Revazshvili circles away.

Johnson lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Revazshvili sprawling to the canvas. Johnson follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Revazshvili hang on?


Revazshvili is rocked!


It looks like Levan Revazshvili has been cut.
Johnson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Revazshvili is still in real trouble! Can Johnson finish him?
Revazshvili seems to have recovered his senses.
Revazshvili is trying to get back to full guard.
Revazshvili slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Johnson continues to stall.
Johnson is pushing down on Revazshvili's leg trying to pass to half guard. Revazshvili is fighting to maintain full guard but Johnson has managed to sneak the leg through.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Revazshvili tries to roll over but Johnson keeps him under control.
Johnson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Revazshvili is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Johnson wants to take a breather but Revazshvili is having none of it.

Revazshvili wants to improve his position but Johnson is controlling well.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Revazshvili wants to get back to his feet.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

and Johnson counters with a left and a right that stings Revazshvili.
Revazshvili throws a hook but Johnson blocks it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Revazshvili looks to land a right hand but Johnson moved out of range.
Johnson wobbles Revazshvili with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Johnson dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Revazshvili to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Wampage Johnson!
Wampage Johnson decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
