Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Constrictor Boa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Constrictor Boa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eric Lynch! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boa leaves Lynch with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A looping hook to the body misses from Boa. Lynch does a little dance to reset his feet. Lynch throws out a counter right but Boa avoids it with no problem. Lynch connects with a leg kick. Boa looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Boa misses with a few strikes there.
Lynch throws a counter combo. Boa misses with a looping right. Boa gets the takedown into side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lynch is not content to let Boa control the position. Lynch struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boa throwing shots but missing, from side control. Boa creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Lynch sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Boa wants to control but Lynch is keeping him busy. Lynch manages to work his way to half guard, despite Boa's best efforts. Boa with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Lynch keeping control of the position. Boa is trying to control the action in half guard but Lynch is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Boa content to control rather than advance. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Boa lands strikes from half guard. Boa wants to free his trapped foot but Lynch is holding on for dear life with his legs. Lynch avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Boa. Lynch has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Boa is working away from the top position though.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lynch throws a leg kick but Boa checks it. Boa swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Lynch avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Lynch connects with a leg kick. Boa looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Boa misses the jab. Nice body kick there by Lynch. Boa tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lynch defends well and Boa ends up having to push Lynch into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Boa stuns Lynch with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Lynch throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Boa tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Boa misses with a double jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boa swings for the body but Lynch moves out of range.

Lynch feints and then cracks Boa's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Boa down. The crowd cheers as Lynch lands an impressive looking overhand right. Boa doesn't seem phased though. Lynch dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Boa looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lynch feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Boa's calf. A nice leg kick lands there from Lynch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lynch looks to land a combination but Boa avoids it well. We've been informed that Lynch has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Lynch lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Boa fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lynch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Eric Lynch will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Boa takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Lynch keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lynch scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Lynch lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Boa is rocked! Lynch throws a sloppy head kick and Boa moves out of range easily. Boa dodges the punch combination from Lynch.
Boa attempts a counter takedown but Lynch avoids it well and moves away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boa has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lynch. Boa jabs Lynch to the body, keeping him at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boa takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Boa looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Boa is looking to wear down Lynch with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Lynch misses with a low kick.
Boa walks forward, straight into a front kick from Lynch. Lynch lands a high kick to the side of Boa's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Lynch dives into guard, looking to finish. Oh Boa is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
It looks like Constrictor Boa has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Boa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Boa is trying to control the position but Lynch postures up. Lynch content to stall in guard here. Boa seems to have got his legs back now. Lynch trying to control the position from guard on top but Boa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boa is controlling Lynch's posture. Lynch controls from within his opponent's guard. Boa tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. A clash of legs there as Lynch blocks the low kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A chopping leg kick lands by Lynch. Lynch connects with the punch. Lynch throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Eric Lynch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lynch tries a low kick but Boa avoids it. Eric Lynch seems to be getting the better of the standup. Boa scores with a body shot.
Boa throws a sloppy head kick and Lynch moves out of range easily. A leg kick checked by Boa. Boa tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Nice defenses there by Lynch. Lynch swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Boa just misses with a punch to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lynch misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A counter left hand to the body from Boa misses its target. Boa walks into a jab. Boa misses with a hook
and Lynch counters with a stiff right hand. Lynch lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Lynch throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Boa fakes the leg kick and cracks Lynch in the body. Lynch pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Boa shoots in for a takedown but Lynch shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Lynch lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Lynch showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Constrictor Boa's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
That kick from Lynch tenderised Boa's leg. Boa is trying to keep his angry face on. Boa cracks Lynch with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Boa is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Lynch throws out a powerful jab. Lynch looks for the body kick but Boa saw that one coming. An attempted straight right counter from Boa misses the target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lynch throws a leg kick but Boa sees it coming and moves out of range. Lynch throws a leg kick and Boa counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Boa looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boa seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lynch does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Constrictor Boa overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lynch makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Lynch. Boa makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Constrictor Boa has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Lynch is trying to keep Boa in close.
Lynch pulls Boa in close to prevent any damage. Boa pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lynch is keeping the position for now. Boa passes Lynch's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Boa keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Boa scoring with strikes to the body and head. Eric Lynch is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lynch is pressing down on Boa's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Lynch is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Boa wants to get back to full guard. Boa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lynch is working away from the top position though. Lynch trying to advance position but Boa counters by regaining guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boa not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Boa looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lynch is one step ahead there. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Boa keeping moving, preventing Lynch from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boa throws a jab when Lynch was well out of range. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Boa pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Lynch lands a jab-cross combination.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Constrictor Boa. I think Lynch has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
