Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kirk Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Antonio Camacho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 17 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kirk Hall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jose Antonio Camacho!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Camacho wants to clinch
and Hall counters with a left and a right that stings Camacho.

Camacho forces Hall back against the cage and clinches.
Camacho keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hall's efforts to push away.

Hall breaks the clinch.
No joy there for Hall, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hall jabs Camacho right on the nose. Camacho blinks but takes it well.
A punch combination from Hall misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Camacho closes the distance and clinches.
Hall wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Hall ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hall no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Camacho passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Camacho goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Hall has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Camacho but great work by Hall.
Hall tries to advance to mount but can't.

Camacho tries to free his leg and advance position but Hall is retaining full guard.

Hall tries to bum rush Camacho with a series of wild strikes but Camacho uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hall misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Camacho moves into the clinch successfully.
Camacho tries to pull guard but Hall forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Camacho is trying to drag Hall to the mat but Hall just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Kirk Hall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose Antonio Camacho.

The fighters circle momentarily. Hall darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Hall fails to land with a series of punches.

Camacho tries to clinch but Hall moves out of range.

Hall pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hall swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Camacho has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Hall seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Camacho can turn it around.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Camacho drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hall looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hall looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hall!

Jose Antonio Camacho has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Hall is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Camacho can do to turn this around?

Hall misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Camacho sneaks back into half guard.
Hall drops an elbow to the side of Camacho's head.
Hall wants to pass to mount but Camacho is defending the position.
Camacho is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Camacho has momentary wrist control but Hall slips an elbow through the middle.
Hall is looking to work some ground and pound but Camacho has wrist control.

Camacho is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Hall has his hands clasped together but Camacho extends and breaks Hall's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Camacho.
