Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Xavier White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vasily Romanov!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White lands with a thumping leg kick.
White wants to clinch up but Romanov keeps it at a distance.
A punch combination from Romanov misses.
Romanov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by White.
It looked like White was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
White moves into the clinch.
White pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Romanov throws a series of punches but White moves out of range.
Romanov loads up on a big right hand but White slips the punch.
Romanov tries for a takedown but White sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
White pushes Romanov up against the cage in a clinch.
Romanov takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Vasily Romanov has been cut.
White manages to break the clinch.
White dances in with a quick combination. Romanov is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from White snaps Romanov's head back. Romanov stumbles backwards against the cage. White steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Romanov's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Romanov just didn't come prepared.
