Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Black Belt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marty Garcilazo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Black Belt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Marty Garcilazo! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garcilazo slaps away a takedown attempt from Belt, before circling back to the center of the mat. Belt shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Garcilazo defends it nicely. Belt shoots in for a double leg but Garcilazo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Garcilazo throws a counter combo. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Black Belt. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Belt tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Garcilazo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garcilazo scoring well with a low kick there.
Garcilazo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Garcilazo lands a nice hook to Belt's body. Belt takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. A low kick from Garcilazo is predictable there and Belt counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Garcilazo looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Belt looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Garcilazo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Belt seems to be working for a kimura but Garcilazo defends the submission attempt. Garcilazo has hold of Belt's hands but Belt slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Belt wants to work for an arm triangle but Garcilazo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Belt takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Garcilazo is looking to escape. Belt has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Belt is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Garcilazo sees it coming and defends easily.

Garcilazo keeping moving, preventing Belt from controlling successfully. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Belt is really struggling to control Garcilazo but he's trying to hold on to the position. Belt stops Garcilazo from standing up.

Black Belt overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Garcilazo wants to get back to his feet. Belt gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Garcilazo counters with a head kick that drops Belt - he's looking to finish, following his stunned foe to the ground! Garcilazo landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Belt is staying active underneath Garcilazo, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Belt is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Garcilazo can do to turn this around? Belt is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Garcilazo is thwarting Belt's attempts to control the position. Belt keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Black Belt dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Garcilazo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Belt moves forwards but Garcilazo connects with a nice, crisp jab. Belt fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Garcilazo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Belt. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Garcilazo lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Belt has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Belt and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Belt is rocked! Garcilazo throws a strike aimed at the side of Belt's head but Belt avoids it well. Garcilazo advances nicely into full mount. Belt regains half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Garcilazo is looking for a kimura but Belt is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Garcilazo to get the leverage. Garcilazo lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Belt gets back to full guard.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Belt's guard. Marty Garcilazo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Garcilazo sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Belt defending well though. Garcilazo landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Garcilazo missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Belt keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Belt moves into full guard.

Garcilazo cracks a nice hook into Belt's ribs. A head kick misses from Garcilazo. Marty Garcilazo seems to be getting the better of the standup. Belt shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Garcilazo pinned against the cage. Garcilazo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Black Belt is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Black Belt. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Belt counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Belt not doing much here.

Garcilazo is refusing to be controlled, as Belt sits in half guard. Garcilazo misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Garcilazo flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Garcilazo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Belt pulls his head out easily.
