Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jarvis Saint Pierre Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Long Timer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saint Pierre Jr comes to the cage accompanied by Sans Pression Numero Uno. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jarvis Saint Pierre Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Long Timer!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saint Pierre Jr closes the distance and clinches up with Timer, looking for a takedown. Saint Pierre Jr pushes Timer against the cage but Timer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Timer is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Saint Pierre Jr doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Saint Pierre Jr misses with a lunging right hand
and Timer counters with a good low kick that Saint Pierre Jr was not able to check.
Saint Pierre Jr stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Saint Pierre Jr wants it to stay on the feet.
Timer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Saint Pierre Jr pinned against the cage. Saint Pierre Jr gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Timer counters with a stiff right hand.
Timer dives in and grabs Saint Pierre Jr's left leg, looking for a takedown. Saint Pierre Jr pushes down on Timer's head and hops out.

Timer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Timer shoots in looking for a takedown. Saint Pierre Jr tries to sprawl out of it but Timer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Saint Pierre Jr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Timer throws a head kick but Saint Pierre Jr moves out of range.
It looked like Saint Pierre Jr wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Timer gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Saint Pierre Jr keeps control of Timer as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Timer is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Saint Pierre Jr to keep the fight standing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Saint Pierre Jr wants to take the fight to the mat but Timer manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jarvis Saint Pierre Jr will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Saint Pierre Jr postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Timer badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Saint Pierre Jr around the waist but Saint Pierre Jr pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Saint Pierre Jr is the winner by TKO! Saint Pierre Jr jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jarvis Saint Pierre Jr!
