Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dynamite Roll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dynamite Roll!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, DJ Nelson!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roll is looking to clinch but Nelson is avoiding it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Nelson tries to close the distance and clinch but Roll swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Roll had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Nelson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Roll Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Nelson's back instead.

Nelson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Roll, up you get!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nelson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Nelson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Roll looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Nelson feints and as Roll raises his hands in defense, Nelson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

DJ Nelson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Roll has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Nelson has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
