Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Levi Mathis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Cole Ohmsford!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ohmsford changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mathis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Ohmsford moves into full mount!
Ohmsford looking to control and managing it successfully.
Let's hope that Ohmsford has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Mathis reaches up to try and control the position but Ohmsford seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Mathis rolls and tries to escape and now Ohmsford has his back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ohmsford just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ohmsford is persistently looking for the submission but Mathis is defending it well.

What can Mathis do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
It looks like Ohmsford might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Mathis is trying to get back to his feet but Ohmsford has full control of the position and if anything, Mathis has just worked his way into a worse spot.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Ohmsford throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mathis tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ohmsford is in Mathis's guard.

Well Ohmsford has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
