Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cristiano Nascimento (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Grace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nascimento comes into the arena with Symptom of The Universe (1975) blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
27 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cristiano Nascimento!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Miguel Grace!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nascimento misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nascimento moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Grace checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Grace drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Nascimento defends it well.
Grace tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
We've been told by Nascimento's head coaches at Lock and Roll Grappling Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Nascimento lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Cristiano Nascimento seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nascimento wants to slow Grace down by chopping away at his legs.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nascimento lands a leg kick that knocks Grace off balance momentarily.

Nascimento fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Grace checks it well.
A little jabbing left from Grace on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Nascimento bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Grace's head.

Nascimento bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Nascimento lands a big head kick that sends Grace tumbling to the mat! Nascimento takes a step backwards and waves Grace back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Jab, jab by Nascimento - just one landing.
Nascimento dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Grace. That did some damage!
Grace takes a jab right on the kisser.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nascimento lands a jab to Grace's midsection.

Grace tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Nascimento dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Grace. That did some damage!
Nascimento turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Grace takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Nascimento.
Nascimento lands with an overhand left.
Grace chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Nascimento can pounce on him.
You can see that Grace has visibly slowed down as a result of the leg kicks
Grace shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Nascimento lands a big uppercut and Grace crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Grace looks OK. Nascimento waves Grace back to his feet!
Grace is rocked!
Nascimento wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Grace is still on wobbly legs! Can Nascimento finish him?
Grace looks winded!
Grace is aggressively charging in as Nascimento backs up avoiding any damage. Nascimento tosses out a jab and Grace runs right into it face first! Grace is out cold! Nascimento dropped down on all fours and is barking in Grace's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cristiano Nascimento!
Cristiano Nascimento spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
