Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbu changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Snider looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Snider could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Barbu thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Barbu advances nicely into full mount.
Snider has left one of his arms exposed and Barbu doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Snider screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Benjamin Barbu!
Benjamin Barbu spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
