Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leroy Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick McWhiskey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by Bad Bad Leroy Brown. McWhiskey has chosen ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ as his entrance music. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leroy Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
33 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Patrick McWhiskey!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McWhiskey loads up on a big right hand but Brown slips the punch.
McWhiskey throws a nice looking combination but Brown bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Brown is looking to counter with head kicks.
McWhiskey has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Brown sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
McWhiskey lands a head shot.
McWhiskey gets in close and tags Brown with a short punch that almost sends Brown to the mat! Oh Brown is in big trouble! He turns his back on McWhiskey, trying to create some distance but McWhiskey rushes him, striking wildly and Brown goes down! The referee tackles McWhiskey into the cage to end the fight! McWhiskey is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Patrick McWhiskey!
In his post fight interview, Patrick McWhiskey gave a big smile as he said 'I'll knock Tiago Renato out in 60 seconds. I shit you not.'.
