0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, James Sharp! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sharp misses with a lunging right hand
and Profit holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Profit lands a left hand.
Sharp tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Profit just stands there and leans against the cage. Profit working some nice short punches in the clinch. Profit throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Profit softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Profit throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Sharps head. Profit makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Sharp is looking for a takedown up against the cage. That's three minutes gone in the round. Profit lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Sharp backwards. Profit scores with a shoulder strike. Profit lands with a left to the head. Profit lands an uppercut. Sharp jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Profit walks away with a smile on his face. Sharp gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. A cross from Profit lands.
Sharp is rocked! Sharp shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Profit counters with a one-two to the body. Sharp is still on wobbly legs! Can Profit finish him? Sharp walks into a straight right hand from Profit. Sharp seems to have recovered his senses. Profit connects with a crisp jab. This has been an exciting period of action! That's four minutes gone in the round. Profit lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sharp at a distance.
Sharp takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

and Profit counters with a crisp right hand that drops Sharp! Profit lets Sharp back up to his feet, looking for a finish! Sharp gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Profit counters with a lovely straight right hand! The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sharp throws a lazy uppercut
and Sharp takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A low kick from Sharp is predictable there and Profit counters with a lovely straight right hand! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jim Profit dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Sharp with a lazy takedown attempt letting Profit counter with a right hand. James Sharp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sharp's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Profit connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sharp scrambles back to his feet. Sharp gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Profit counters with a one-two to the body. Sharp misses with a right hand and Profit counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Profit scores with a crisp jab that stopped Sharp in his tracks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Profit connects with a looping right hand.

and Profit counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Sharp tries to move into range but Profit moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Profit lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Sharp goes down and covers up as Profit starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jim Profit! After the fight, Jim Profit was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
