Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Semmy Kasteel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sepp Maier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kasteel might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Celtic Music. The crowd seem to be enjoying Maier's choice of entrance music: Apaga mas não bate. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasteel tries to keep at a distance but Maier has taken the fight into the clinch.
Maier decides to pull guard.
Maier has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kasteel can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Maier looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Maier is looking for a triangle but Kasteel pushes his legs off easily.
Maier escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kasteel gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kasteel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Maier moves away.
Maier goes for a double leg but Kasteel avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kasteel continues to drive forward.
A counter left hand to the body from Kasteel misses its target.

Maier looks for a takedown but Kasteel sprawls well.
Maier tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kasteel swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kasteel was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Maier shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Semmy Kasteel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sepp Maier.

and Kasteel counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Maier dives in for a single leg takedown but Kasteel sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

A very excited looking Semmy Kasteel rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
