Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Boothe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khalid Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hayes has chosen Flight of Icarus as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boothe moves out of range as Hayes strikes.
Boothe misses with a leg kick.
Hayes misses with a body kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Hayes.
Boothe slips under a jab from Hayes.
Boothe looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Boothe fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hayes has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Hayes tries to work over Boothe's front leg with a kick but Boothe checks it.
Hayes throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Boothe stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hayes.
Boothe with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Hayes scores with a decent looking hook.
Boothe lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A looping hook to the body misses from Boothe. Hayes does a little dance to reset his feet.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hayes has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Hayes throws a leg kick
and Boothe counters with a good low kick that Hayes was not able to check.
Nice body punch from Hayes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A head kick misses from Boothe.
Boothe steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hayes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Boothe takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Boothe throws a leg kick
and Hayes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Boothe misses with a right hand
and Hayes counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hayes misses the jab.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hayes lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Boothe has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Boothe and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Hayes tries to work over Boothe's front leg with a kick but Boothe checks it.
Hayes looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Good leg kick by Hayes there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Boothe misses with a combination
and Hayes counters with a right hand to the body.
Hayes on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Good exchange - Boothe coming out on top.
It looks like Khalid Hayes has been cut.
Hayes takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boothe paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
A big left from Hayes misses.

A shot to the liver by Hayes. Beautiful body shot.
Hayes throws a leg kick which misses Boothe's front leg but catches the back leg as Boothe tries to avoid it.
Boothe walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hayes checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Boothe is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Hayes lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Hayes cracks a nice hook into Boothe's ribs.
Hayes takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Hayes avoids the body shot from Boothe.
Boothe misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hayes.
Boothe lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Boothe lands a big head kick that sends Hayes tumbling to the mat! Boothe takes a step backwards and waves Hayes back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Hayes is rocked!
Boothe sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Hayes's defenses. It connects perfectly with Hayes's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
