Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Ribeiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Barker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ribeiro comes into the arena with Numéro 1 blaring out of the sound system. The key to victory for Mike Ribeiro has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Ribeiro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Barker! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ribeiro is looking to clinch. Ribeiro throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Barker feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ribeiro's calf. Ribeiro throws a series of strikes that have Barker backpedaling.
Ribeiro tries to bum rush Barker with a series of wild strikes but Barker uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Ribeiro throws a right and a left that Barker avoids nicely. No joy there for Ribeiro, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Barker misses with a hook. Ribeiro misses with a double jab.

Barker swats away the attempt to clinch by Ribeiro. Ribeiro stuffs the takedown attempt from Barker. Barker gets slowly back to his feet. Ribeiro doesn't manage to clinch there - Barker circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ribeiro is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ribeiro thows a body shot but no joy. Barker with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Ribeiro to score with a decent uppercut. Ribeiro wants to clinch. Ribeiro fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Barker manages to avoid it. Ribeiro is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ribeiro misses with a few strikes there.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Barker fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Ribeiro tries to close the distance and clinch up but Barker swats him away and circles back towards the center. The fighters circling - Barker throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A head kick misses from Barker. Ribeiro sizes up Barker with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Ribeiro fails with an attempt to clinch.

Barker bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Barker working the strikes but Ribeiro uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Barker wants to pass to mount but Ribeiro is defending the position. Ribeiro is trying to stand back up but Barker is controlling him
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ribeiro taking some punishment here, with Barker in his half guard. Ribeiro wants to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Barker is trying to control the action in half guard but Ribeiro is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Ribeiro is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Barker scores with a couple of nice shots. Ribeiro tries to kick Barker off but Barker keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Barker seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Barker is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Ribeiro has managed to free his arm - good work. Barker is working for a kimura but Ribeiro is defending it quite comfortably.

It looks like Mike Ribeiro has been cut. Barker scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Ribeiro?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ribeiro is squirming around, avoiding Barker's attempts to control the action. Barker unloading with bombs! Barker working away from the top, dropping strikes. Barker trying to control but he's not successful this time. Barker with good strikes from the mount here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ribeiro wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Bob Barker dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mike Ribeiro's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Barker shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ribeiro pinned against the cage. Ribeiro gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Ribeiro misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mike Ribeiro is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ribeiro tries to clinch up but Barker circles away and keeps his distance. Ribeiro walks into a straight right hand from Barker. Mike Ribeiro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ribeiro rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Barker moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Ribeiro misses with a double jab.

Barker shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ribeiro's guard. Barker postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ribeiro is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Barker, into his guard. Barker has his foot on Ribeiro's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ribeiro works his way back into a safe position though. Bob Barker has got the better of the ground game so far. Barker wants to sweep but no luck. Ribeiro would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Barker had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ribeiro is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Barker Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ribeiro's back instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barker is throwing strikes by Ribeiro counters by rolling into a better position. After a scramble, Ribeiro regains half guard. Barker sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ribeiro defending well though. Ribeiro avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Barker. Barker passes the guard and advances to mount! Barker looking to finish Ribeiro with some ground and pound. This is bad for Ribeiro! Barker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Ribeiro wants to get back to his feet.

Ribeiro is trying to stand up. Barker wants to control the pace but Ribeiro is squirming around nicely. Barker lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
