Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nikolai Norovicrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marek Wafel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nikolai Norovicrov could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Marek Wafel's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Norovicrov moves into range and clinches up with Wafel.
Norovicrov is trying to break the clinch but Wafel has him pressed against the cage.
Norovicrov wants to get back to striking at distance but Wafel won't allow it.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Wafel.

Norovicrov is trying to force a seperation but Wafel has the dominant position.
Wafel has Norovicrov pressed against the cage, preventing Norovicrov from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Wafel has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Norovicrov is trying to keep an underhook but Wafel manages to get the takedown into half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Nikolai Norovicrov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Wafel's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Wafel closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Norovicrov did well to prevent Wafel getting side control.
Wafel seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Norovicrov tries to kick Wafel off but Wafel keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Wafel slips a nice elbow through Norovicrov 's hands, connecting with Norovicrov 's forehead.

and Wafel counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Wafel postures up and lands a big shot to Norovicrov 's brow.
Norovicrov wants to stand and escape but Wafel is having none of it.
Wafel not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Wafel.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Wafel turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Wafel creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Wafel is putting a hurting on Norovicrov here, landing some big shots from side control.
Wafel is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Nikolai Norovicrov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Marek Wafel is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
