Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Quinn Ravage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ares Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quinn Ravage has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Quinn Ravage! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ares Junior! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Junior fails with a takedown attempt. No luck for Junior with that takedown attempt. Ravage motions for Junior to come forward. Ravage throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Junior fails to land the takedown. Quinn Ravage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ares Junior. Junior fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ravage avoids it really well and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Junior shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ravage gets caught napping as Junior dives in and scores a takedown. Ravage manages to retain guard. Junior looking to pass the guard. Junior being controlled here momentarily.

Junior works a leg free and moves into half guard. Junior seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ravage does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Junior thows a huge punch but Ravage dodges it nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Ravage keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Ravage tries to roll over but Junior keeps him under control. Ravage is trying to maintain the position but Junior is very close to passing his half guard. Ravage on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ravage tries to get out of the position. Well, if Junior is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Junior circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ravage throws a low kick but it's checked well by Junior. Junior tries for a takedown but Ravage sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Junior shoots in but Ravage avoids the takedown attempt easily. Junior takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Ravage tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Quinn Ravage is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Junior shoots for a double leg takedown but Ravage sprawls well. He's pushed Junior's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Junior tries to work over Ravage's front leg with a kick but Ravage checks it. Ravage displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Junior. Horrible takedown attempt by Junior or perhaps it was just good defense by Ravage, which made it look bad. Ravage half committed to a counter leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ravage slaps away a takedown attempt from Junior, before circling back to the center of the mat. Ravage is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ravage doesn't manage to clinch there - Junior circles away.

Junior shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ravage but Ravage pushes him off and we're back to square one. Junior misses with a takedown and Ravage counters with an inside leg kick. Junior throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ravage's waist but Ravage gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Junior off to one side. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ravage buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Junior misses with a takedown and Ravage counters with a nice leg kick. Junior looks winded! Junior dives in and grabs Ravage's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ravage pushes down on Junior's head and hops out. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ravage preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Junior postures up in Ravage's guard and throws a big left but Ravage blocks it. Junior lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Junior looking to pass the guard. Junior throwing strikes but missing. Junior lands a couple of decent looking shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Ravage trying to control the position here. Junior with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Junior throws a big right hand that misses. Junior wants to control from the top but Ravage keeps moving. Junior slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Junior tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ravage defends well and Junior ends up having to push Ravage into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Ravage tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Junior manages to circle out of the way. Junior with a poor takedown and Ravage moves into the clinch. Quinn Ravage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ares Junior. Ravage stops a takedown attempt from Junior.
Junior will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Ravage up against the cage.

It looks like Ares Junior has been cut. Ravage unloads a knee to the mid-section. Junior lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Knees in the clinch landing for Ravage.
Junior has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ravage avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Junior is breathing heavily. Ravage lands a knee to the body.

Ravage moves away from the strike by Junior. Ravage slips a straight right by Junior. Junior shoots for a double leg takedown but Ravage sprawls well. He's pushed Junior's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Ravage thinks about countering with a head kick. An inside leg kick lands from Ravage. Junior looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ravage is fending him off so far but Junior persists. Nope, Ravage circles away and we're back to standing. Junior shoots in looking for a takedown. Ravage tries to sprawl out of it but Junior keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ravage manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Quinn Ravage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ares Junior. Junior missing with a left hand there. Ravage was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Junior fails with a takedown attempt. Junior takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Junior has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ravage. Ares Junior seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ravage half committed to a counter leg kick. Ravage feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Junior's calf. Junior goes for a double leg but Ravage avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ravage continues to drive forward. Ravage fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Junior has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Quinn Ravage is winning the standup battle so far. Ravage tries to close the distance and clinch but Junior swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Junior's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Junior has his takedown stuffed and Ravage counters with a good low kick that Junior was not able to check. Ravage connects with a solid leg kick. Junior dives in for a single leg takedown but Ravage sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ravage tries to close the distance and clinch but Junior swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ravage scoring well with a low kick there.
Junior fails to land the takedown. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ravage lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Junior shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ravage as he avoids it easily. Junior is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Good leg kick by Ravage there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

No luck for Junior with that takedown attempt. Ravage looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Ravage misses with a low kick. Junior tries for a takedown but Ravage sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Junior on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Ravage is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Junior can do to turn this around?

Ravage lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Ravage throws a head kick that Junior semi-blocks.
Quinn Ravage is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Junior gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Ravage counters with a leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Junior tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. A big right from Junior misses. Ravage lands with a slapping head kick. Junior with a lazy takedown attempt and Ravage counters with a big head kick but Junior shrugs it off. Ravage cracks the inside of Junior's front leg. Ravage moves in looking to clinch but Junior pushes him off. Junior misses with a lunging right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Quinn Ravage showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ravage, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
