Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ville Ahokas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Kagawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ahokas comes to the cage accompanied by Älä Enää Lyö. Kagawa has chosen Radio Ga Ga as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lee Kagawa!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Ahokas checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Kagawa scores with a push kick.
Kagawa tries a low kick but Ahokas avoids it.
A little feinted left hand from Ahokas on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Kagawa with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Kagawa buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ahokas lands a lovely overhand right.
Ahokas blocks a head kick by Kagawa.
Ahokas is looking to counter punch.

Lee Kagawa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looked like Ahokas was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Kagawa buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Ahokas stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kagawa.

Kagawa throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Ahokas sizes up Kagawa with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ahokas swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A nice leg kick lands there from Kagawa.
Kagawa feints and then cracks Ahokas's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ahokas down.
Ahokas connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kagawa has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Kagawa connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Ahokas stalks Kagawa and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kagawa's face. Kagawa staggers backwards, shaken.
Kagawa throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ahokas sizes up Kagawa with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ahokas, as that shot connected.


Kagawa is rocked!
Ahokas throws a jab but it's blocked by Kagawa.
Kagawa is still on wobbly legs! Can Ahokas finish him?
Kagawa throws a head kick that misses
and Ahokas connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A bone on bone clash there as Kagawa blocks the leg kick.
Kagawa misses with a head kick.
Ahokas throws an overhand right that drops Kagawa like a sack of potatoes! Ahokas dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ville Ahokas!
Our winner, Ville Ahokas, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
