Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Beltshazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Doyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ryan Beltshazar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sean Doyle! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Sandra Marshall and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beltshazar fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Doyle swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nice body punch from Beltshazar. Beltshazar has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Combat Fitness in the buildup to the fight. Doyle has his takedown stuffed letting Beltshazar counter with a right hand. A head kick from Doyle lands but Beltshazar takes it in his stride. Beltshazar throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Doyle pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Beltshazar smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Doyle misses with a body shot.
Beltshazar scores with a hook to the body. Doyle takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Doyle doesn't manage to clinch there - Beltshazar circles away.
Doyle feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Doyle trying to control but Beltshazar is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beltshazar looking to control.
Doyle is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Doyle wants to stand but Beltshazar is controlling his posture from full guard. Beltshazar trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Doyle trying to control but Beltshazar is working from the bottom. Beltshazar wants to get back to his feet but Doyle is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Doyle has gone for a leg lock! Beltshazar slips out almost immediately though and dives into Doyle's guard. Beltshazar passes Doyle's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Beltshazar wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Doyle uses the opportunity to regain full guard. Doyle avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Doyle controls Beltshazar momentarily but Beltshazar frees himself. Doyle looking to hit a scissor sweep but Beltshazar is one step ahead there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Beltshazar throws a big right hand that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beltshazar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Doyle swivels though and keeps the full guard. Beltshazar postures up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Beltshazar throws a right and a left that Doyle avoids nicely. Beltshazar lands with a straight right. Doyle didn't see that one coming. Doyle has managed to clinch.
Beltshazar gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Doyle.
Doyle looking for a takedown. Ryan Beltshazar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean Doyle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Beltshazar wants to break free but Doyle has control.
A right hook to the body lands for Beltshazar.
Doyle prevents Beltshazar from breaking the clinch. Doyle escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Doyle walks into a left hand. Doyle forces Beltshazar back against the cage and clinches. Doyle has Beltshazar pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Doyle pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Beltshazar tumbling to the mat - Doyle dives into Beltshazar's guard. Beltshazar has his foot on Doyle's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Doyle works his way back into a safe position though. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Beltshazar is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Beltshazar dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Doyle on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Beltshazar lands with a shot to the body. Beltshazar swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Doyle takes the fight into the clinch. Beltshazar misses with a body punch.
Doyle has Beltshazar pressed against the cage, preventing Beltshazar from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Doyle breaks the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Doyle on the wrong end of a nice jab. Beltshazar throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Doyle shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Doyle showed some decent athleticism there. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Doyle tries to stand but his arm is trapped. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beltshazar is trying to get back to full guard. Beltshazar wants to get back to his feet. Beltshazar is looking to improve his position.
Doyle tries to stand and escape but Beltshazar is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Doyle prevents Beltshazar from standing back up.
Doyle seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Doyle fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Beltshazar seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Beltshazar ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Beltshazar connects with the punch. Doyle moves into the clinch. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Beltshazar has had enough of the clinch but Doyle keeps him there for the moment. Doyle pushes off an throws an elbow but Beltshazar leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Beltshazar wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Doyle has him pressed against the cage. A short uppercut from Doyle. Doyle has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Beltshazar is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. A frustrated look appears on Beltshazar's face as he tries to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Doyle prevents Beltshazar from breaking the clinch. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Doyle. Beltshazar is trying to push Doyle away but Doyle has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Doyle tries to pull guard but Beltshazar forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Ryan Beltshazar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean Doyle. Doyle breaks the clinch.
Beltshazar gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Doyle to score an easy takedown into full guard. Beltshazar controlling the position. Beltshazar's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Doyle wants to stand and escape but instead Beltshazar has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Doyle keeping moving, preventing Beltshazar from controlling successfully. Doyle escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Beltshazar gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Doyle wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Beltshazar is now in half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Beltshazar is pressing down on Doyle's thigh, looking to free his foot. Doyle is holding on for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Ryan Beltshazar will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Beltshazar closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Doyle is rocked! Doyle looks for the body kick but Beltshazar saw that one coming. Beltshazar is looking to counter punch. Ryan Beltshazar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Beltshazar plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Doyle to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Doyle just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
