Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mustafa Shabazz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elliot Stabler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mustafa Shabazz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Elliot Stabler! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stabler dives in and scores a takedown into Shabazz's guard. Shabazz is trying to control the position but Stabler postures up. Shabazz has his foot on Stabler's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stabler works his way back into a safe position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shabazz looking for a guillotine here but Stabler defends easily.

Stabler sitting in guard, not really doing much. Shabazz is pulling down on Stabler's head. It's preventing any offense from Stabler, at least for the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shabazz working a defensive guard here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Shabazz keeping moving, preventing Stabler from controlling successfully. Shabazz trying to keep a closed guard but Stabler is proving a slippery customer.
Stabler showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Stabler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shabazz swivels though and keeps the full guard. Stabler wants to control from the top but Shabazz keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Stabler misses with a right hand and Shabazz counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Stabler looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Shabazz is pushing down on Stabler's leg trying to pass to half guard. Stabler is fighting to maintain full guard but Shabazz has managed to sneak the leg through. Stabler looking for submissions off his back. Shabazz is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Shabazz works his foot free and advances to mount. Stabler is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shabazz tries to control but Stabler wriggling away. Shabazz wants to take Stabler's back but he can't do it this time. Shabazz definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Shabazz looking to control and managing it successfully. Stabler is wriggling around trying to escape.
Shabazz is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Stabler is surviving well by controlling Shabazz's body position as best he can. Shabazz wants to take his opponent's back but Stabler doesn't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shabazz has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Stabler is forced to tap!
