Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Martin Lindner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Prickly Pete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Prickly Pete!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindner takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Pete shoots for a double leg takedown but Lindner sprawls well. He's pushed Pete's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pete wants to clinch up but Lindner keeps it at a distance.
Pete avoids a punch combination nicely.
Pete shoots in but Lindner avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nice takedown defense from Lindner. No joy for Pete on that attempt.
Martin Lindner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Prickly Pete.
Pete avoids the head kick by Lindner.
Pete takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Lindner closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Lindner wants to take his opponent's back but Pete doesn't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Pete takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lindner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Pete is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Lindner can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Pete is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Lindner has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Lindner!

Pete is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Lindner slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Prickly Pete comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Pete has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
