Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ahmed Aljad!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Aljad dives in and grabs Watson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Watson pushes down on Aljad's head and hops out.
Aljad shoots in looking for a takedown but Watson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Aljad's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Aljad shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Watson sprawls well. Watson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Aljad gets slowly back to his feet.
Watson fires out a quick counter leg kick but Aljad just manages to avoid it.
Landry Watson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ahmed Aljad.
Aljad fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Watson avoids it really well and circles away.
Watson feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Watson scores with a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Watson lands a big head kick that sends Aljad tumbling to the mat! Watson takes a step backwards and waves Aljad back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Aljad is rocked!

Watson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Aljad at a distance.
Aljad is still on wobbly legs! Can Watson finish him?
Watson seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Watson connects with a stiff jab that staggers Aljad - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Landry Watson!
